Reddies 50th Anniversary

Registering

The cost is $75 per person which includes the major Saturday night function at the RSL.
We are very aware that not everyone has access to Facebook and will need to book through an alternate method.
We can arrange this through being contacted via phone or email (contacts below).
Registration closes Friday 16th April.

Merchandise

We have a number of items available for purchase in relation to the Reddies  50th Anniversary.
- The caps, stubby holders and port will be sold over the weekend.
- There is also an Anniversary Book which will be sold over the weekend.

Events

Friday 30th  April- The Reds are in town
Our Meet and Greet evening is a great way to commence the weekend. We have booked a marquee area at the Palm and Pawn from 5.00pm. Finger food will be provided but you can also order a meal at your own cost from the pubs Bistro which is one of the best in town. We are encouraging everyone to wear something red, either an old jumper, or polo or anything associated with the club.
Of course the 5.00pm time isn’t set  in stone, it’s just a starting point. You can get there earlier or later, whichever suits you
Saturday 1st May- Game Day
The starting time for all games is still to be confirmed but at this stage we hope to have 3 Mens grades, a Women’s game and a Golden Oldies game. Our opponents on the day will be Wagga City.
A courtesy bus will run a couple of shuttles from the Palm and Pawn to the ground and also do a couple of runs back to the pub after the last game. There will be marquees set up at the ground with food provided.
The Saturday night function is at the Wagga RSL and will commence from 6.30pm until Midnight.
This is a chance to mingle and catch up in a semi formal atmosphere. We are still awaiting confirmation of any COVID-19 restrictions that may be in place at that time. We are not looking at a sit down dinner but rather a more casual style for the evening with minimum formalities, a memorabilia display and (hopefully) a number of short video presentations.
*Drinks at both the game and Saturday night function are at your own cost
** Please note the RSL has a motel attached to the club if people are still looking for accommodation.**
Sunday 2nd May- The Recovery
For those who are able a Recovery will take place at the Palm and Pawn from 9.00am onwards. A light breakfast of Bacon and Egg rolls and coffee will be available for those who may need to get away early. Otherwise get there when you can, enjoy the hospitality of the pub, have lunch at the Bistro and say farewell to those who can’t stay.

Accommodation

As stated in previous updates we encourage you to book your accommodation as soon as possible but do so with the Free Cancellation aspect just in case COVID-19 raises its ugly head again. Already some have booked a room at the Palm and Pawn.
The Bushpigs are also celebrating their 50th Season Anniversary as well so it might be wise to book accommodation now. The Wagga Gold Cup is on the following Friday and some punters do like to get into town early so again getting the accommodation sorted out is recommended.
The Matured Reds Golden Oldies
We are hoping to get a Golden Oldies game up and running and would need to know if you would like to partake in the game. Just post your confirmation of playing on the Facebook pages or  send a message to one of the contacts below with your intention to play. Great time to start “training” now.
