Graduates sometimes need to know the abbreviated format for their degree to place on their business card. A complete list of all awards offered by the predecessor institutions of Charles Sturt University at the time the University was established (in 1989) plus all the awards approved by the Board of Governors or by the Academic Senate and its predecessor bodies can be found below. Please use only the abbreviations as detailed in this Approved Award Nomenclatures document.
An official Academic Transcript or AHEGS (issued to graduands from 2011) shows your program, the results for each subject studied as well as your final qualification (when completed). When you graduate a complimentary AHEGS is provided with your Testamur (Degree Certificate).
NOTE: Prior to 2011 graduands were issued with an Academic Transcript; After 2011 graduands are issued with an AHEGS only.
From 1 June 2018, CSU are moving to providing qualifications in a digital format through the use of My eQuals.
Wherever possible replacement Transcripts will be provided to you in digital format via My eQuals. (Note that Transcripts will remain in hard copy for any previous CSU institutions). Once payment has been confirmed, the transcript will be produced and you will receive a notification email with instructions on setting up your account with My eQuals and accessing your document.
Once issued you have access to your Transcript for life, meaning no more requests for replacements!
Did you know there is an Academic Transcript within your AHEGS?
An Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement or AHEGS (issued to graduands from 2011) shows your program, the results for each subject studied as well as your final qualification (when completed). The Academic transcript for your award is contained within the AHEGS. When you graduate a complimentary AHEGS is provided with your Testamur (Degree Certificate).
Please allow 21 days for processing of transcript or AHEGS request. AHEGS will not be provided digitally at this time for alumni as they need to be reprinted in the exact format in which they were originally issued to you.
Replacement Testamurs require University Council approval (and also contain slightly different wording to indicate that it is indeed a replacement), so your request will be presented at the next scheduled Council meeting (these occur monthly). Replacement testamurs will not be provided digitally at this time and will be posted to you in hard copy as soon as possible after approval is received.
There is a fee for these replacement documents so you will also need to complete the Remittance Advice form and if paying by credit card scan and send it to the email address at the end of this web-form to authorise payment. The fees are listed in Other fees and charges - Fees for Documents and Items.

AHEGS statements are only available for students graduating in 2011 or later.
I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the documentation that attests to the conferral upon me of the award as entered above has been lost or destroyed. Should I locate any or all of the documentation at a later date, I shall return it to the University.
