Andrew Lord
Andrew Lord's career is a testament to his passion for education and personal development. Graduating with a Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership from Charles Sturt University in 2021, Andrew's journey has been marked by a commitment to thinking differently and challenging the status quo.
Studying both on-campus at Port Macquarie and online, Andrew cherished the opportunity to engage in rich discussions with peers from around the globe. These interactions highlighted the universal need for educational reform and inspired him to think bigger and differently.
Currently, Andrew wears many hats. He teaches business and lifestyle coaching courses at TAFE NSW, directs his own coaching business, and leads Education Revolutions Australia, a social enterprise dedicated to educational reform. His daily routine is diverse, reflecting his philosophy of abundant living. Whether teaching, podcasting, coaching, or developing new educational solutions, Andrew's days are filled with activities that echo his commitment to helping others. Some days, he teaches courses or interviews inspiring individuals for his podcast, "Gifts From the Edge." Other days, he focuses on one-on-one coaching or creating innovative educational solutions for young Australians.
The best part of his work, Andrew says, is helping people break free from internal limitations and discover their true potential. He is particularly passionate about education reform for young people, believing it to be a key to future societal change. His latest venture, MX Life Academy, aims to build a community of dreamers eager to make a positive impact.
Andrew's career path has been unconventional. Initially studying Industrial Design, he later transitioned to education, driven by a desire to stay in a non-metropolitan setting. His innovative approach often clashed with traditional educational systems, but it also led him to personal development coaching and systemic reform advocacy.
Inspired by mentors like Maura Luxford and Daniel Flynn, and motivated by his family and faith, Andrew continues to push boundaries. His advice to current students is to balance practical learning with creative imagination, always seeking what might be possible beyond current cultural norms. The best thing about his work, he says, is helping people discover their identity, cultivate a productive mindset, and embrace new ideas and perspectives. He loves helping people discover how they can make an impact in their own unique way.
