Below is a list of the academic records available for order by Charles Sturt Alumni (past students).

On receipt of your request you'll be asked to confirm your identity. You will receive an email with a statutory declaration form attached, this is to be completed and returned via email with a copy of your photo ID, a driver's licence or passport.

  • Digital transcripts

    What is this document and the process

    An academic transcript is a formal record of your studies at the University.

    Transcripts will be issued in digital format via My eQuals.

    Once payment has been confirmed, your request will be processed and you will receive a notification email with instructions on accessing your document through My eQuals.

    Further information

    Academic transcripts include all units of study (attempted and completed) and your grade for each unit. If you have been enrolled in more than one course, it lists all courses and all units studied at the University. It is not possible to separate degrees.

    What is this document and the process

    An academic transcript is a formal record of your studies at the University.

    Transcripts will be issued in hardcopy, posted to the address nominated on your form when you checkout/make your payment.

    Please allow 10 business days for processing, plus postage time.

    The transcript will also be issued in digital format via My eQuals.
    You will receive a notification email with instructions on accessing your document online.

    What is this document and the process

    This service is for Graduates of Predecessor institutions to Charles Sturt University only.

    An academic transcript is a formal record of your studies at the University.

    Once we receive your request your academic history will need to be recovered from the archives.

    Allow up to 20 business days for processing, plus postage time.

    Transcripts will be issued in hardcopy, posted to the address nominated on your form when you checkout/make your payment.

  • Replacement Testamur

    Summary

    • For: Graduates of Charles Sturt University and all  Predecessor institutions
    • Cost: $120
    • Turnaround: Up to 2 weeks + postage time

    What is this document and the process

    Testamurs are issued as confirmation of completion of an award.

    Students can only be issued one Testamur at any one time, so you will be required to confirm the status of your originally issued Testamur. Example Damaged, Lost, Change of Name.

    If your testamur has been damaged or you require a change of name, you will need to return the original testamur.

    If you have studied more than one award with us and require a Testamur for each separate award, these will need to be processed and approved separately. Please submit a separate order for each individual Award Testamur required.

    If you graduated prior to August 2018 and require a change of name, you will need to order a replacement AHEGS as well so that your Testamur and AHEGS details match.

    Replacements are submitted fortnightly to the Director, Student Administration throughout the year, so the issuing of your document will depend on the date of approval.

    Replacement Testamurs will be issued in hardcopy in the same size, style and format of currently issued Testamurs and posted to the address nominated on your form when you checkout/make payment, as soon as possible after approval is received.

    Testamurs are sent to domestic students via Registered Post and will require a signature upon delivery. It may take 1-3 weeks for your testamur to arrive. If documents are returned to Charles Sturt you will be charged a fee for us to resend them to you.

    Further information

    Testamurs contain your name, the course you completed, the date the award was originally conferred, the new date of conferral (affixing of the University Seal), signatures of the current Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor and the University Seal.

    Replacement Testamurs contain slightly different wording to indicate that the document is a replacement.

    Do you need a replacement testamur?

    Consider if you require this evidence to apply for a job or support applications for scholarships or further study. Most institutions are satisfied with an Academic Transcript for evidence of past study.

  • Replacement or printed copy AHEGS (Graduation Statement)

    Summary

    • For: Graduates of Charles Sturt University since 2011 only
    • Cost: $40
    • Turnaround: 20 business days + postage time

    What is this document and the process

    Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement or AHEGS are issued to Charles Sturt Graduates at graduation. This document is essentially your graduating Academic Transcript.

    AHEGS have only been issued to and are only available to students who have graduated from Charles Sturt since 2011.

    Replacement AHEGS will be issued in hardcopy, posted to the address nominated on your form when you checkout/make your payment.

    Printed AHEGS were only issued up to July 2018, from August 2018 AHEGS were issued digitally via My eQuals. If you graduated from August 2018 and require a printed AHEGS complete this order.

    Allow up to 20 business days processing, plus postage time.

    Further information

    The AHEGS provides descriptions of the nature, level, context and status of the studies that were pursued and completed by graduates, as well as information about the education system to which the qualification belongs.  The Academic transcript for your graduated award only is contained within the AHEGS.


    Replacement AHEGS will be issued in hardcopy in the same size, style and format of currently issued AHEGS and posted to the address nominated on your form when you checkout/make payment.


    Replacement AHEGS can only be issued in the format in which you originally received it, that is, if you require a change of name, you will need to order a replacement Testamur as well so that your Testamur and AHEGS details match.

    Replacement AHEGS are not available in digital format via My eQuals for graduates who graduated prior to August 2018.

    Do you need a replacement AHEGS?

    For those who graduated from August 2018 who want a printed copy, most institutions are satisfied with the digital AHEGS via My eQuals.

Approved Award Nomenclatures

Graduates sometimes need to know the abbreviated format for their degree to place on their business card. A complete list of all awards offered by the predecessor institutions of Charles Sturt University at the time the University was established (in 1989) plus all the awards approved by the Board of Governors or by the Academic Senate and its predecessor bodies can be found below. Please use only the abbreviations as detailed in this Approved Award Nomenclatures document.
